Hand-drawn flower t-shirts: gerbera daisy, peony, and more
Flowers keep showing up in my design work, and I’ve stopped fighting it. This page is a running home for every hand-drawn flower t-shirt I make, why I made it, and where you can pick one up.
Why flowers, and why t-shirts
A flower is a strange thing to draw. It’s soft and structured at the same time, every petal following a pattern, but no two blooms lining up quite the same way. That tension between order and looseness is what keeps pulling me back to botanical illustration.
A t-shirt is a good home for that kind of design. It’s not precious. You wear it, wash it, wear it again, and the flower goes with you. I like design that lives in the world.
Each illustrated flower t-shirt in this collection starts the same way: with a flower I can’t stop drawing until I’ve turned it into something wearable.
Gerbera daisy t-shirt
The gerbera daisy t-shirt was the first flower design I turned into a shirt. It’s a bold daisy composition with a clean, art-forward feel, built to function as a wearable print.
I wanted something with visual impact. The composition is direct and bright, and it holds up whether you’re layering it under a jacket or wearing it on its own with denim.
It’s available in navy, sized S through 2XL.
Peony t-shirt
The peony t-shirt, called Pink Peonies, came next, and it’s a quieter design than the daisies. It’s a full bloom of peonies rendered in soft pink, buds, open faces, and layered petals cascading from top to bottom.
This one is single-color line work, which meant slowing down and paying attention to how much detail a thin line can carry before it turns into noise. The result reads as delicate up close and holds together as a shape from across a room, which is the same balance I look for in every design.
It comes in cardinal, black, and navy, sized XS through 2XL.
More flowers are coming
This collection will keep growing. I’m not interested in a single flower shirt and calling it done. There’s a lot more to draw, and I’ll add each new design to this page as it goes live.
